A sixth season for Dogengers has been announced via the official website for the series. The lastest series is titled “The Time I got Reincarnated as a Dogenger” and will be a fantasy isekai focused plot. The series will see Fumie Arakawa returning to the director chair and is looking to release on the 13th of July.
Dogengers is a tokusatsu series focused on the concept of local Japanese heroes. Characters within the show are made to represent different Japanese prefectures and cities. The series has slowly crept up in popularity, originally being very low budget before gaining an audience and has seen a number of big tokusatsu writers and cast members from Kamen Rider and Super Sentai join the production.
