With Ultraman Omega releasing in June, Tsuburaya have revealed the casting of Omega’s human friend in the series. Actor Haruto Yoshida will be appearing in the series as Kosei Hoshimi, a 21 year old human who befriends and helps Omega throughout the coming series. He will also be able to utilise kaiju partners called Meteokaiju to assist Omega later in the series. Meteokaiju appear as Kaiju toys until awoken to full sized Kaiju to help Omega in battle.
Revealed alongside Kosei are two of these Meteokaiju called Rekiness and Trigaron. Rekiness has psychokinetic powers that will allow him to move objects while Trigaron is focused towards physical combat with a strength and speed to match.
