A recruitment page hiring extras has opened citing itself to be seeking a large amount of extras for Toho's new "Monster Movie". The page confirms that this is a project from Takashi Yamazaki, the director of 2023's critically acclaimed Godzilla Minus One. The website is seeking both men and women to represent crowds and the shooting dates are estimated to take place starting on the 30th of August into early September.
Twitter account Kaiju No. 14 also confirmed that the names of Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe are present in the source code of the recruitment page. Both actors appeared as lead characters Koichi and Noriko in Minus One, confirming that this is likely a direct continuation from the events of the 2023 movie.
