Today sees the release of the first issue in sequel series Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong 2. The series will run for seven issues, releasing at the start of each month as it follows the plot of Task Force X creating their own hybrid titans in an attempt to protect the Earth from any other titan incidents following the events of the first series.
The series is set to have an appearance from Colonel Lee Shaw, who first appeared in the 2014 Godzilla: Awakening comic. The character was later upgraded to an on-screen lead in the Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters where father and son duo Kurt and Wyatt Russell represented him in different time periods.
