Ultraseven’s Yuriko Hishimi and Kamen Rider Amazon’s Toru Okazaki are to be wed later this year. Yuriko took to Twitter to announce her engagement to the Kamen Rider star, sharing that the pair had met 53 years ago and that she will be moving out of Tokyo to be with him in Kumamoto Prefecture.
This will be Yuriko’s second marriage And Okazaki’s first. Yuriko is well known for playing Anne Yuri on Ultraseven and Okazaki had the leading role of Daisuke Yamamoto in 1974’s Kamen Rider Amazon. While Amazon has made minor appearances in the Kamen Rider franchise since airing, Okazaki has not been on screen since 1976. Yuriko was last seen on screen in 2017’s four-part series The Kaiju Club where she played the role of character Yuriko’s Mother.
